I got an idea the other day that would make it more interesting I think. Use the ascending and 7*feature, but differently.
Like when your 6* is maxed rank 5. You'll be able to use a ascending gem to put him 7*.
You'll still have 7* crystal, but when you pull them, it wont give you the 7* version of that champ, but it will duped the latest version of that champ (no matter his *) and unlock a new and unique ability, with his own sign ability.
This way, you dont have to go thru a brand new roster. You keep your champ value and new ability could give better value to some really **** champs. Aka like what they do with buff champs but now with a new ability you can unlock.
I don't know...this is from a player that plays since the very start and don't want to go thru all the bad pulls you can get from bad rng in the game.
