Sig 99 Daredevil not evading 100% of the time.

I just fought Iceman and the Collector in 5.2.6 with Daredevil and got hit with projectiles in both fights. In the Iceman fight, there was no active Cold snap debuff and I was well into the middle of my fight. I baited his sp2 and got hit by the first part but was still able to auto evade the second part. Same with fighting the collector. Able to avoid the first part but got hit with the second part of his special 1. My datedevil is a 5/50 4* with level 99 signature ability. He isn't supposed to be hit with any projectiles.

Collector has ability reduction over time - so he won't stay at 100% for the whole fight. Don't know this for sure but with Daredevil also having the class disadvantage against both Collector and Iceman wouldn't that take down his sig % a bit as well?

Iceman cold snap 100% prevents evasion. So if he used an l1 or l2 while coldsnap was active, dd won’t evade it. You gotta read the abilities of your opponents. Under old war system, iceman was a common champ on unblockable l1 bc dd wouldn’t evade he l1 and it was guaranteed damage from cold snap to anyone who fought the node

Incidentally, that’s also why iceman is great against Spider-Man. His cold snap totally prevents spidey from evading

@Run477 He said the he wasn't under cold snap but yes the sp2 of icemans seems to be weird with dd since it is all projectile but doesn't evade it till the icicle dunno if it's going to be fixed or anything and the collector reduces ability accuracy by 2% every x seconds

On Iceman, it is probably just setup that the first part is not considered a projectile. Whether this is intentional or not, that is likely why you did not automatically avoid the first part of his sp2.

That explains what happened with the collector. I've watched videos of others using dd against the collector and they were able to successfully evade his specials. Maybe they were also swiping back to activate dexterity too as opposed to just holding down block. This was 5.2.6 so there was a role reversal global node. One of my mates also has Sig 99 dd and has been getting hit with projectiles too. So he doesn't evade 100% of the time like he is supposed to at that level.

The Collector's ability will reduce your champions' abilities over time throughout the fight just what has been mentioned by @Bendy. That's probably the reason your DD can't evade the 2nd part of Collector's L1.
About Iceman's L2, it is still a bug that DD can evade the 2nd part of that special attack.

My advice, maybe you can bring in Nightcrawler too cause he will evade any attacks when he is dashing back. Good contender against Collector

My dd for a few revives didn't evade any sp2 of collector and I have 99 dd wasted so many revives due to him to evading after getting collector to sp2 I thought the ability decrease from collector continued since when he let off sp2 it was only about 25 seconds up to 40 seconds which is not even 100% reduction happened twice where sp2 dd didn't evade and then the rest he did which is strange
