What is the shortest path from start to cavalier?

Restarted the game 6 days ago on a f2p account after getting paragon on my main. Early progression went quick. Fully explored story acts 1-3 in 2 days and completed act 4 with 3 rank 3 4-star champs and 2 rank 3 champs. With the rewards I leveled up 3 champs and now have rank 4 4-star versions of Kitty pryde (sig 6), warlock and magneto. Have one five star (dragon man) and some other 4 stars I will eventually rank up (kingpin, blade, ultron). But my question is this -what is my shortest path to cavalier? To get that title I’m going to need a decent team of 5-star champs and I don’t have that.

What would you do? The game has changed a lot since I started my original account. Is it really worth pushing to uncollected right away or should I simply wait?

I’m trying to figure this out because if I am going to grind arena to progress i am going to need to spend a month leveling rank 3 champs to get infinite streak etc. And won’t have iso to work on getting a team of 5 rank 4 four-star champs to make a run at uncollected.

So far I’ve spent all my units on masteries

get uc if u can then play battlegrounds also u can do master difficulty exploration and the side quest

Blitz your way to UC with the 4* you have, then pick up the GM shards and 5* shards and hope they’re usable champs. I got Cav within a couple months of a new account because I pulled Hype and Aegon

Brian grant does new account challenges. If you follow that it should give you an idea. Keep in mind the early quests and rewards have changed quite a bit.

I did something similar a couple months back…got to UC on a new account with 1 4/40 champ(profx) and rest 3/30 and 2/20 4* as i was saving every t4cc for 5* and got guilly99 as my first 5* after getting UC
After that my focus was to complete act 5..guilly(2/35 at the time) carried me in 5.3 as she negates the weakness and her regen topped off her health at the end of every fight
Meanwhile i pulled 5* nimrod and mephisto and i took them both to r3..but i felt that i would struggle against hela and modok in 5.4 with my current set of champs so i ranked 4* prof x to r5
And so i entered 5.4 with nimrod,mephisto at r3 and prof at 5/50 and it wasnt too bad till i hit my first roadblock at the final ultron boss.I tried with nimrod and doc oc but couldnt make it work…but i had an unawakened 4* void in my roster so i got a generic 4* gem from the side quest and awakened void and took him to r4 and he made short work of ultron and i was able to finish act 5.
After that i explored UC event quest and used 4/40 sentinel,2/35 guilly and 3/45 nimrod to complete v3 but didnt get anything of much use from there
Now i had a double immune for xbones and sentinel(nimrod) but i needed an option for 6.1.2 ultron boss and thats when i pulled electro as my first 6* from the shards formed from act 5,uc event quest exploration and side quest and that was the final piece of the puzzle needed as far as my champs were concerned.
To fund the cav run i explored act 3 and the revives and units i got from there and act 5 plus the 20% revives from daily events gave me a healthy stash of items which i knew was more than enough for 6.1
After that i entered 6.1 with r1 lvl 10 6* electro,3/45 nimrod,3/45 mephisto,2/35 guilly and the rest were r1 5*. 6.1.1 was the most annoying quest as i either died to no retreat or block damage…took me a team revive for the path but the boss was an easy solo with nimrod.
6.1.2 ultron was going to be annoying and he did give me a hard time with electro but after a lot of revives i was able to take him down.
6.1.3 and 6.1.4 were easy and 6.1.5 xbones took me a couple revives but overall it wasnt all that bad..the paths took a few revives as well but i had a good stash of items and i was able to enter 6.1.6 with all my units still untouched..i ramped up guilly on havoc and got to the boss and she was instrumental in that fight as she took off 40% by herself…after i used her i had to use a couple team revives to get him down and was able to hit cav.
All of this took me a month and honestly it was a lot of luck involved with me pulling and duping nimrod,guilly coming in early to handle a lot of act 5 and electro having one good quality which is exactly what i needed.
And it was fun to enter global after that and have people go mad and call me a modder and a hacker.
