The game team has resolved this issue. Keys will be distributed via in-game messages and the quest timer will be extended.

As previously announced, the team will be distributing an additional point toward milestones to anyone who completed the Absorbing Man fight in the first step of the Winter of Woe.
This point will be distributed at a later time as it requires the team to pull and analyze data.
The timeline has not been set, but work has started.

Alliance Wars Season 38 Changelog


Welcome to another season of Alliance War! This season we’re seeing our usual rotation for Expert Map, getting a slew of new interactions with Debuffs to play with, I hope you like Knull on the Boss Node! Speaking of Boss nodes, for the first time in ages we’ll also be updating the final boss node of the map!

New Tactic for Challenger/Hard Maps!

Attack Tactic - Subdue

#Subdue Attackers Basic Attacks have a 33% chance to apply a 6 second Neutralize Passive. Additionally #Subdue Attackers Special Attacks apply a 2 second Fateseal Passive immediately Nullifying all Buffs, and prevents any new Buffs from activating.

Node Changes

We’ve been meaning to change out some of the older paths for a while to bring out more meaningful RPG encounters into the meta of AW. This is an ongoing process that will run for a few more seasons, but without further ado, here is the new and improved Path 2 that will be the new home for your Mystic Defenders!
For your information, the new nodes we developed to help Mystics capitalize on are the following…
Drip Feed - Placebo - 3

The Attacker gains a 6 second Placebo Buff every 5 seconds. Whenever the Defender is inflicted with a non-Damaging Debuff, except for Stun, resets this Timer.

Combat Deja Vu - Placebo - 3

Whenever the Attacker lands the same type of Basic Attack twice in a row, the Attacker gains a 5 Second Placebo Buff.

Personal Space - Placebo

While the Attacker is close to the Defender, the Attacker gains a 5 second duration Placebo Buff every 3 seconds. Staying far away from the Defender causes these Placebo Buffs to gradually fall off.

And, in an effort to help shift the Defenders used on the Final Boss island to align with the Defence Tactic, we have opted to change out one buff on the Final Boss node to help shift the Defender Meta. The new node now looks as follows for Expert players…
