Same fighter in BG...

Went to BG trying to score some points and ended up with someone who is a "Legend" and was playing against me in Silver 3 and after I lost I started a new matchmaking and it's him again... Matchmaking not cool...

Yeah, but it already took my energy so it seemed a bit of a waste... Didn't know you could end up with the same person again after a loss

I tried not to mention names lol, but yeah it annoyed me as obviously you got a good deck and you play better than me.

Will do that in the future

This happens quite regularly I’ve found. I’ve matched with someone 3 times in a row before, not fun for whoever is on the losing side.

Yeah it's just one of those things that can happen. Obviously if you played someone previously, you both would have had your match end at the same time and then likely queued up afterwards at the same time. One of the goals of matchmaking is not to make you sit around for ages waiting so it really just makes a lot of sense that you could end up against the same person again. I had it happen a bunch in Season 1 but not nearly as often in Season 2 as I think there is a little more participation happening.

I matched someone 3 times in a row. Beat them all 3 times and I advanced to the next tier. I'm sure he was cussing his luck. I would be too, lol

Yeah I matched a smaller account 2 times in a row and I felt bad cuz I outmatched him or her. It happens, not as unlikely as you’d think but small chances.
