Typically, Champs come out 2 for every month. On occasion, there is an OG champ added to the pool (e.g. Scarlet Witch this time), and rarely (typically on December), a single champ is added, but its still on a monthly cadence.
Yet rather than being a 3 month cycle, or approximately 91 days for the featured hero crystal rotation, it is more like 98 days, meaning every cycle there is a week's delay between a champion being added to the game, and being added to the crystal.
Enough cycles have happened now that Wiccan was added to the featured pool and basic pool on the same day, and come next with no change... whoever is the 6th champion in the pool will actually get added to the basic pool before the featured, which makes no sense.
I don't suggest changing this crystal pool's availability window... but going forward starting with the next pool, I would suggest getting things re-aligned, and adjusting the duration of the featured crystal down 1 week to keep things better in sync.
