Random thought but does kabam use the fight data we have to try and detect cheaters?

I don't know if individual in game reports get looked by someone or only the accounts that get frequently reported, but it seems like certain accounts do get looked at if they get posted on the forums or are submitted through support.

What I'm curious about is if the information that let's us as the players decide that the account might be cheating, is enough for kabam to ban an account.

For instance, if an archangel faces a bleed immune defender at the same rank and is done in 20 seconds, to us that's impossible. Even for good matchups with class advantage, 20 seconds is really fast and given archangel is useless in bleed immune fights most players would assume this is modded somehow. Same logic applys to accounts running suicides who finish with more health than expected. Would this let kabam ban the account, or do they require some sort of data on their end that shows that the account has been modded?

That applys outside of battlegrounds. For instance, accounts get posted sometimes with abyss titles and whatever else but have really weak looking profiles with only 6 star rank 1s and 5 star rank 4s. Does kabam take any action in these sort of circumstances based on judgement? In theory someone could spend thousands of dollars and spend all day grinding units, but it I'd highly unlikely.

Now i have no idea what I'm talking about and I have no idea what information kabam has access to.

And I'm not saying everytime a fight looks strange to us kabam needs to take action, I see screenshots of matches all the time that definitely could've been legitimate. We don't get all of the information either, what seemed like a really high sig rank 3 could've been a low sig rank 4.

The answer is no, reporting is not enough. There's always an investigation process. The absence of such would be quite concerning. Any bitter Loss could turn into a Ban.
