This is my roster. I have no clue to wich path would be easiest or who would be best to take on the grandmaster. I only have 300 Units and I know I wi have to get more but how much more ?
Any advive would help
I personally found that, although his path guide was good, MCOC Noob's GM guide oversimplified the fight a bit, and KT1 definitely did a better, more comprehensive guide.
Unless your entire team is made up of good GM counters, I'd use single revives, and I wouldn't bother healing, as you'll generally get hit before block pen gets you anyway.
Other guides will do the actual GM fight better than me.
You're going to use only one attacker the whole time so you want them as good as possible.
First section and the reverse controls I find the hardest.
300 units will be too little and less you have a stack of revives. I'd aim for 1,000 at least so you can push thru first time.
In terms of the actual fights, take the path with all cosmic defenders. Just watch as your debuffs will most likely be purified. You’ve got champs like Hulkling and Herc and Corvus who aren’t debuff reliant. You can also try and ramp up Ægon if you want. While building up units maybe do an Ægon practice run to see how well that would work.
My best advice to you is watch videos. You don’t need much skill if you know what to do and when. I suggest watching popular YouTubers’ FTP 6.4.6 runs. They’re a lot more recent than the ones from years ago when it came out, and they’ll have more insight
Separately, save up and play to gain as many health pots and revives as possible. So once you are ready to really give it a go, then you can go for it - read his abilities, etc. If you make it to a certain point at Grandmaster fight that you seem to get stuck on, pause and take a break to plan out how to deal with that phase. Good luck!
