White magneto persistent charges

I just fought kingpin with zero charges on the boss island node 53 polka dot and was expecting 1 charge for knocking him out and 1 charge for magnetos awakened ability going into the limber/bane next miniboss. I received only one charge.

Don’t you receive 1 charge/ 2 charge metal for unawakened white magneto and 2 / 3 charge metal for awakened?

I should have received 2.
