I think you have to be more specific coz works on my machine.

Magneto reduces the AAR of nodes as well, even when they are pro player nodes like this one.
The game can't magically know what abilities you'd want to turn off and which ones you don't so they all get affected.
For this node combination, the crit passive is obviously pro player but it's not impossible to imagine a combination where you wouldn't want it to trigger.

Any form of AAR will reduce your chance of gaining the passive. Kingpins degen debuff will prevent it from time to time and Domino won’t get it if you intercept while they are in crit failure.

This is how AAR works.
