Dashing into Light Attacks

Been having a few runs at EOP Terrax today and this has been a reoccurring issue. While Rock Field is active and he's all aggressive, dashing into an open Terrax will almost guarantee he catches your dash with a light intercept. Trying both normal dashes & backdrafts with similar results, being unable to intercept without getting caught makes the intercept Fury node really annoying to counter on what should otherwise be a straightforward fight.

Is this an issue for anyone else? Any tips to get more reliable intercepts on this guy?

That's every opponent against my Herc, especially with infuriate on.

He can even do wall evade/light intercepts. I have been just waiting for him to dash and intercept him. Not rely too much on backdrafts. I only could backdraft more consistently with namor.
Another tip is to mix up your combos- 2/3/4 hit combos. Never repeating the same number. You will still get intercepted at times but not as much as repeating same actions.

Yes its very annoying. What I did was do light intercepts back to him with namor. So initial parry, mlll, dash back lll dash back lll. Then once I got him in the corner I did m intercepts cause they seem to work better then.

Agreed, infuriate is almost useless now on herc, I just don't use it at all. Almost guaranteed light intercept.

As to this terrax, the difference between his AI and gauntlet terrax AI (that many of us became used to) is night and day.

This eop terrax is a huge risk to try back draft intercepting. He counters with a light intercept to the face, nearly every time.

I didnt have this problem in this EOP fight, i managed to intercept him well 90% of the time.

However, like that guy pointed out, i have this problem almost everytime im using Hercules, it just feels like somehow the opponent learned some Superior Kang mechanics to antecipate and counter ur intercepts
