Need some help 7.4.6 please

So I'm taking the Paradox Knockdown/the slip stream bleed path in 7.4.6
( The one that starts with diablo)
So I'm planning to stun lock clear the path with aegon, i need to know if aegon will be a viable counter for the Mephisto
Is it possible to solo the Mephisto because I'm saving the HT prefight for superior kang

    You don’t need the prefight for superior kang, you build smolders through out the fight easily so there is no need of it.
