Theory on unintended dash forward or backward

It seems to me that possibly the criteria for the engine to determine if a swipe forward or backward was performed just may be a little too small. If you go from block to performing a heavy your left thumb will potentially see that as the dash back criteria has been met, as your thumb touch point changes minutely as you start to lift it. The same could be said of going from dashing back to block possibly may trigger a dash forward because of how the thumb changes pressure at slightly differing points as you press down making the engine determine that it was a dash forward. It may need the distance the touch-point has changed in order to be considered a dash to be expanded slightly.
FYI, I am not a programmer, but a med device systems engineer with many years exp in sw v&v. and have dealt with many quirky ui issues.
If this was already looked at nvm, but if it hasn’t been, then please someone look into this possibility.
If this turns out to be the issue/solution I would like a 6* Hercules and Hulkling as a reward :-)
