Using striker causes recoil

I run full suicides, when I use any of my strikers it causes a recoil. Even when I K.O. a opponent with a striker it still get hit with a recoil.
Seeing as using A SP1 or SP2 to K.O. a opponent doesn't cause a recoil this must be some kind of bug??
