In my opinion, when the scoring system arrives on the circuit, it kills the game, see an example, last season I only managed 30 points, I reached 75 but lost, and I went downhill, if I had stopped playing at 75, I would have stayed in a better placement...
This season, I reached 80 now, I better not play anymore, because my quality as a player only reaches here, and if I fall to Uru III, then I try to improve the position.
If I didn't lose a point, I wouldn't stop playing

One thing I noticed in GC is that I often was getting more points gained per win than I would lose when I lost. It seemed my range for wins was +14 to +17 but my range for losses was -13 to -16. I think this is fine because it encourages you to keep playing. Also keep in mind that the quality of your average opponent in theory should reduce over time as more people make the GC and move up.
