AQ milestone rewards

What is the point of milestones 34-39 all having the same rewards? This made sense back when each had varying amounts of map crystals. But now it just seems like an oversight. The difference between 33 and 40 seem to be set so that each milestone in between would have an increase of 100 glory but they don’t. Can anyone explain the reasoning here?
