Is Galan really added to basic pool?

I’ve been hunting Galan. Opened 60 featured with no luck.
Today he’s supposed to be added to the base pool so I just did a little test to confirm he’s there before opening my abyss nexus crystals.

I opened (spinned) some 4 star crystals and filmed it. Then went back and looked in slow motion.
Not a single Galan present in the clips.

So this is not a complaint or another tin foil hat conspiracy question but simply asking everyone if someone has gotten him today from basic crystals?

This type of question has come up in the past; it was particularly relevant recently when a Relics bug popped up.

As @Chatterofforums has pointed out, the carousel isn't an accurate representation of a spin. Essentially, the additional champ pics you see fly by do not represent how close you are to pulling those champs; they are more cinematic and simply for show.

So, just because you don't see them there, does not mean they aren't in the crystal. On the opposite side of things, if you see 30 of one champ, it doesn't mean that their percentages are higher.

    Hope this helps!

Thank you very much. This was what I thought and what I have always believed but I wanted to ask to fight of a beginning paranoia 😂.

Wasn't it said before that the champ reel actually pulls from the possible crystal contents? So, for example, a Science crystal should only have the available Science champs in the reel (and 30 Hulks in a row doesn't mean anything Hulk pull odds-wise) and a #Mercenary crystal is broken if Doom showed up in the reel, whether he was the pulled champ or not.

For me I'd personally prefer an accurate representation of which champ is in the real, especially the cav crystals. Seeing a crystal 'almost' land on a 6 star does something instinctivly to the brain to say its close, try again. Appreciate it being mentioned on the forum that its not an accurate representation, however there are many people not on the forums who would not know this and may be compelled to keep spending (potentially). So yeah, duty of care I'd say accurate representation or text under the reel saying 'reel not an accurate representation... odds are what is stated in the crystal '

It's impossible. The reel is a visual effect. In actuality, there's no reel when you open one. The server generates an outcome instantaneously.

Any other solution to help potential effect on gambling? Thinking back to my programming days I'd have 5 reels predefined with correct odds, then have a blank space for the instantaneously outcome to be inserted. If not then is anything stopping the text from being added?

I don't believe there's anything that CAN be done to curve gambling. It's an issue that exists outside of their control. Some people have a gambling issue, some don't. Even if it were blank spaces, or an immediate outcome, those with an issue would still chance it. It's a disease that affects someone internally, not externally. It's the responsibility of the user to get help and avoid games with RNG if it's a serious problem for them.
