How do hero crystals work?

I have cpl of questions (noob questions for some) about those crystals:
1. Feature crystals: How do you know before the crystals are announced what featured champs will be in there? I heard people say this champ or that champ wont be included in the next featured crystal and we need to way for the next one for it and so on...so there must be an x amount of days or smthing ?
2. Normal crystals: Whats the math behind knowing when a champ will make it to the basic pool? Also, when champs are added to basic pool, are some old ones removed? if so, do we know or can calculate which ones? I believed that once introduced in basic pool it stays there, but i opened/spinned over 30 6* crystals and i never saw Iceman..not sayin pull him, coz that can happen with any champ in 100+ crystals, but i didnt see his face in the spinner either

Thanks

The featured champs in the next featured crystal are the 6 champs released after the last champ in the featured before it. So for example Titania was the latest released champ in the current featured so the champs in the next one will be Infamous iron man, Spot, Spider man supreme, Shuri, Attuma and Mantis. Jessica Jones is a trophy champ so will not be in the featured or basic.

After a certain amount of time (I forget how much exactly) the champs released after the latest one to be added to the basic pool will also enter the basic pool. Galan was the latest so Quicksilver will be next.

The reel is only there to let your hopes down and not indicative of the champ you may or may not pull.

So all champs that were introduced at some point in the basic crystal are still there, right?

Yes, the basic pool is just an ever-growing abyss of champions. Not all champions are in there, but all champions that have been in are in.

The reel is just a random selection of like 30 champs of all the possible champs in the pool, and it does not necessarily include the champion that you will end up pulling (out of the basic crystals). Featured reels or crystals with specific pools typically have a far lower number of champs inside and thus the reels can be relied to show you most if not all the champs in the pool. But, and I can't overemphasize this, how you open a crystal and the reel have nothing to do with the champion you end up pulling. Once the crystal is selected to open, the champion is decided and nothing you do afterwards influences it. They probably won't be in-reel and no tap or pop method will change the decision. That being said, for all those spin haters, it definitely provides a different experience letting you get your hopes up, remember some fun champs that are in the crystal, and can provide a lot of joy and a lot of heartbreak as it stutters past or on to a champion you want.

I knew that spinning is irrelevant when it comes to the result for years now..what i ddint know is the missing champs from animation meaning they are not in there anymore or not…and yeah, those that still believe spinning and tapping at a certain time might be relevant..do the next experiment..stay next to an alliance mate, spin ur crystal..ur alliance mate will see in the alliance chat what u got even if u are still spinning and not tapped to stop
