Banquet alliance contribution

Hey, I didn’t realize there would be a 14-day hold on giving to alliances for the gifting event, and I just recently moved alliances. The 14 days will have passed a few days into the event, my question is, if I start buying and opening Banquet crystals before then, will my points be added to the alliance and I can’t get the rewards till the days are up, or will they not count at all for the event if I do it early
