Is matchmaking dependent upon the currency used to enter matchmaking? I mean to say does elders marks people fight against elders marks only or can they also match against people using energy?

    I don’t think it has ever been confirmed, but many players reported facing the same opponent back-to-back while switching currency. In some cases, perhaps both players switched at the same time, but it’s unlikely to have happened for every instance. It would appear that currency is irrelevant in matchmaking.

    I would disagree, generally when I use elders marks I get matched with tougher opponents who are more serious, while energy gives me some weaker people
