Valkyrie taking damage from dismay node

Alliance does map 6 5 times a week with the highest difficulty modifiers available. I recently awakened my valkyrie and took her to rank 3 so i decided to take her into aq for some good testing. Day 1 we run the dismay modifier. When valkyrie reverses her combo the degen from the dismay node begins. I was wondering if this is a bug or working as intended?

Dismay triggers when you lose your highest achieved combo, not just when you lose your combo in general. By reversing your combo you trigger dismay by essentially forfeiting your highest combo. It is working as intended and correctly. Just can’t play her like that on dismay.

Sounds like that's exactly what should happen, I'm afraid.

Could be worse - try Kingpin or DDHK on an Aspect of Nightmares node if you really want an unpleasant interaction due to a champions innate abilities.

This came up before. Reversing her combo counts as losing your highest combo.
