Kicked out of BG and lost a game

I recently went into a BG game where I killed the enemies champion. As soon I killed him the game automatically went to reconnecting and then registered a loss on my end despite me winning the first round. There is no record of the second fight caused me to be kicked out of a rank up match. I needed just one more coin. Anyone else face this?
