6* Herc or 5* Herc awakened?

I have Hercules as a 5* that I can dupe using a stone. I was ranking him up and he’s at rank 3 maxed right now. But I also drew a 6* Hercules. I cannot awaken him currently since I don’t have any gems.

Which is the better option to invest resources into and use in game modes going further? (For context I am cavalier, currently working on 6.3, and can do basically a completion but not exploration run of cavalier EQ currently)
