6 Star Nexus Choice

I have a 6 star generic awakening gem, not sure if either are worth the gem but I have it as an option as I know they both are a lot better awakened. I also have masacre as a 6 star at r2, does he make valkyrie less important to have? Prestige also doesn't matter to me.
