What if?

What if Mike came in and posted and announcement that the game had to be and was going to shut down for say...a week, to completely retool the game and fix and test it for big and lag....would you come back after a week to see what has happened?

Yes. I've asked them to do just that even for a day or two and they refuse. It would be so much nicer to play a smoothly functioning game.

So I guess the next logical question is would you rather they did that than to continue to grind on under these conditions?

They can simply test it in the test server while the official server is running at the same time ...

That doesn't seem to be working. And even if they can, does it make sense to let us get madder and madder in the mean time? Close down refresh and rebrand and have a huge kick off to get us excited again.

Maybe some of those who have walked will return.

This is not how our game (or most games) works. Most problems are not fixable server side, and require a new version update to fix. These issues cannot be fixed by "taking the game down for a week" or even more. This is why we make incremental updates monthly, not only to introduce new content, but fix any bugs or issues that we identify and can have a fix ready for in time.

Thanks for your response Mike. So much unpleasantness and anger here. Looking for possible solutions! Don't want everybody bailing! I haven't beaten them yet! I think many of us would like it to stop! Its like being a kid in a classroom with everyone yelling...I like the game want it be a happy place to come to and to function for all of us. And it so easy to come in and get swept up in it...
