Awakening + Rank up decision

I succumbed to the temptation and I got the 10 gbc offer. That gets me the 6* generic gem. Who should I use it on? I'm torn between nick & kitty. Or, should I save it for herc?

Also, I get to choose a t5cc. I have a handful of very good options to r3;
Nick (who can be awakened)
Cgr (literally just got him)
Scorpion (I have the 5* maxed out so I'm a bit hesitant for now)

What should I do?

Fury and then Kitty. If you play Kitty correctly, and have Tigra synergy, she’s essentially immortal. NF and KPryde are amazing champs. But, I’d lean Fury for now. You’ll eventually awaken Kitty and she’s still good unawakened. Nick is just another level when duped. Well, litttle more so than Kitty, but this is my subjective opinion. I have both duped - NF 6* and Kitty 5*. Love them both.
