From a developer and designers POV, which I am, if I really wanted a good way to crack down on cheaters and mods in game, this current BG meta is a great start.

Does it suck for the majority of players (like myself) who are still wanting to “git gud” at this mode of gameplay, absolutely. It’s not impossible and hopefully this will allow Kabam to more actively find and permaban the accounts that delay our gratification (aka season rewards).

I made the mistake of focusing on defenders and not attackers so I’m going to have to make adjustments. Until then, I’m totally not having fun and think the damage back could/should be reduced.

Also, what’s with Angela still taking damage with 3+ buffs when I thought she reduced all types of damage (almost by 💯 at max sig)? I was still taking just as much damage with 4+ buffs as I was with just 2

So, while I could easily jump on the BG4 nerf train, if this leads to permabans and a fear of future metas to those that mod and cheat, I can and will persevere.

Although, I do agree this meta is more appropriate for gladiator track where wins/losses mean more

From what I understand it’s a week long ban if and that’s a big IF they get caught. I haven’t heard of any permabans

Git guddddd gudddd guddddd. But honestly I think kabam developers gave this tough meta to weed out and reap away those modders and might even Parma ban them. I don't know, i suppose it's very possible as BENQUET event is done if those were paying customers (as everybody seems to think of those modders who are paying customers). now there is no big spending event maybe few here and there I think kabam is planning to ban them permanently after found them to be modding.

I hate using the “git gud” nomenclature, but it unfortunately fits the bill in this scenario. The only flaw I see in my reasoning is that modders will mod, cheaters will cheat. Even permabans don’t mean much when you can just make another account and mod your way through story and other content until you return to business as normal.

What they need is what my company is developing and that’s a blockchain like, AI driven, digital twin like authentication system. We have HSML and other protocols that mitigate a lot of this.

Angela reduces the duration of damaging debuffs. The power burn is a instant burst not a debuff so Angela can't interact with it.

We shouldn't have to suffer so that they can find modders. I'd rather them leave the modders, pay the rewards as normal then go through and perm ban the modders
