Thanks Kabam....and no, I had full wifi and internet!
My Venompool just beat Nimrod when I was kicked off the game, saying it was disconnected. It automatically logged me back in the fight twice but just to show that the time ran out and we both had full energy.
I was given the defeat even though it shows there is no recorded rounds.
