iOS problem - freezes during game

Hi,
I've always bought "gaming" phones. I was currently playing MCOC on realme GT2. A lot of people said that the game is much better on iOS (I had trouble playing Quake on Android, I wasn't avoiding attack fast enough). I bought an iPad Air 5 gen, but it seems to me that the game freezes, there is much less smoothness. Has anyone had this problem. Android 6gb ram is better than 8gb ipad
Are there any settings that support ipad gaming?
