As the links above prove, the schedule changes to the 6* basic pool updates where not only intentional, but where advertised to all players via in game message. You are NOT fixing anything, but changing it. Why? Just because people want IDoom? This is why you never spend money on this game. Things just change for no reason, and pretty much always change for worse.
