Ipad 4 bugs and lagging

Hi guys, i need some help from you, and i hope that this will solve my problem. I have Ipad 4, and i am playing MCOC for about 2 or 3 years . My problem started about 6 months ago, and it's still happening. Every time when I'm in game, and when opponent or my champ gets an active buff, my device lags or freeze for 2-3 seconds, and my champion is half dead, because my device stop responding. Sometimes happens that in the middle of the game, just exit the game and that's it. Why this happens, and is there a solution for me, and my teammates because they have same problems, but on different devices.
