Screwed in BG

I just got screwed over using Elders Marks in BG. I had finished off a fight with a win in about 30 seconds. The screen jumped to the end of the match, then when I saw I had lost a medal instead of won I clicked on it and it took me back into the fight completely starting over but with only 20 seconds left. Obviously I lost then lost the next fight to lose the match. What is this? Has this happened to anyone else? Internet didn’t go out as my wife was using it right next to m on another device.
