Nerf in Difficulty impacts Legends run times

I did my legends run yesterday and fully explored Conqueror and Proven (formerly master and heroic) difficulties in a little over 3hrs and 55mins. In previous EQs many people did runs that were sub 3.5hrs and some even did their runs in under 3 hours. I knew that with the increase in difficulty my run would take longer and I was fine with that, because I knew others would be in the same boat. But not 12 hours after I did my run, Kabam nerfed the difficulty of the EQs.

I checked the health of Conqueror and the fights that used to be 68k health, are now half that. Proven is still around the same. Now, don't get me wrong, I'm glad Kabam decreased the difficulty level (even though they're still harder than they used to be), the only thing I'm mad about is that this will affect everyone who did their legends run before the nerf negatively. The timeframe to do a legends run is 14 days, and it's been less than a week since the EQ has been out, which means that there's a good chance a substantial number of players will do their runs after the nerf.

I could've easily shaved off 15-20 minutes from my run had the difficulty been what it is now. I would just like to know how Kabam is going to handle this situation of unfair legends run for this month.
