Overwhelming power

Let's talk about some nodes, more exactly about overwhelming power, I can't understand a limitation of power, we spend a lot of time and resources to overpower our champions in order to do more easily some missions, but now I have a 6* star champion range 4 that's makes only the half of his power only by a node. That's may cause a long long fight I don't need this. Why??

    As you rank up your champs power rate will increase. This was discussed over a year ago but the thread should still be on the forums somewhere. I think the topic was rank 3 6 power rate.

    Alternatively, you can select a champion who properly counters the node and not have to do that. How is this node any different than any other damage mitigating node? It has a criteria that can be played around or ignored depending on the matchup. I find it odd to get worked up about such a trivial node.
