I'm puzzled by the argument "we don't want another OP cosmic". Could one of its advocates please elaborate?
As far as I know, we don't know if either will be good or bad. Even if that's the case, why would that be a bad thing?
I don't care which one wins, btw.
I think they are assuming it will be good after all both previous summoner's choice ended up being pretty good.
well anyway good or bad mostly people don't want same class to win it this quickly.

As such desire for mystic class to get the new summoner's choice champion is born.

Fair enough. QS is pretty good but I wouldn't call him OP. I think there's a slim chance that we'll ever get another champion like Herc.

I'm older and I definitely remember him from the 90s cartoon and I still don't want him to win. I just don't want two Cosmic champs so close to another.

For greater context:

There are currently 44 cosmic champions in the 6* pool (featured and basic), the most of any class. There are only 35 mystics (less than any class except tech). That’s why people are saying we don’t need more cosmics but that we could use more mystics.

Yes and within two years the only two winners have been both: a science and a cosmic champion, so for me, that's still way too soon for another Science or Cosmic to win.
