Update on Issue affecting damage reduction abilities?

It seems like there is a widespread issue with champions who have a general damage reduction at least when affected by DoT effects. Spidey 2099 is taking full damage from suicides when fighting true strike, unduped kitty taking full damage from suicides while phasing, juggs taking full suicide dmg with gem up, etc. Has this issue been acknowledged? I’ve yet to see a response on the various threads.
