BG sandbagging is fixed

I made a 2* deck and not fighting. (So i can lose faster, don’t have ranked champs for meta).
Learned 2 things.
1) sandbagging definitely no longer works. I’m getting all high level matches.
2) the game won’t let you die to a one hit kill. You have to at least move back once. Otherwise it keeps restarting.

I am curious about #2. Not sure I understand. Is that a counter measure to cheating or something?
