Side quest week 4 node query

So there are 2 nodes in the right/lower path for week 4 side quest . The defenders get unstoppable when they get knocked down and knocked down removes protection ,means if they have unstoppable they shouldn't have protection anymore cuz they have been knocked down already .
When i knock them down , they have unstoppable and protection both . I don't know what else I'm reading wrong cuz if it counts as a knock down to give them unstoppable, why doesn't it remove the protection?
Any advice would help, thanks.

    At the moment & until they fix it, you have to knock them down, then intercept to remove the unstoppable and then knock them down again to remove the protection.
