Hulkling bug

Whenever I fight red skull with hulkling, striking him in the block takes down his health and he’s power burned. Reading over his abilities says that he should be immune to this effect. Usually his first two hits damage him and then the immunity kicks in? Can anyone help with this. I lost my champ in aq today with this.
