Emotes or what

Is there a way to turn these off or can we ask for one? Other than being pointless it's only good for trolling. Shouldn't care about it, I know yet I find it super annoying.

    Yeah, emotes practically ruin BGs(other than the fact that they DIDN'T GIVE ME MY REWARDS!). I don't know who came up with the idea of adding emotes to MCOC and thought it was good, but, judging from the hot mess that is the global chat, this is probably a horrible addition and should be removed immediately
