Anyone recently have defender throw special while you’re mid combo?

I’ll be mid combo, not lagging on hits. As my next hit is going in and defender still has the animation of being hit, the screen darkens and I get a special to the face.

Anyone else?

Yes, I can't even remember all the wth moments recently. January: Worst month of mcoc for a while. February: Hold my beer.

Yes. It appears that when they have a protection node turn on that eliminates debuffs, the defender sometimes is able to throw the special mid-combo. It reacts like it is coming out of a stun, but is not combo locked. Very frustrating...

All the time, for more than six months now.

Yeah, Kabam really needs to fix this issue. But unfortunately they're too busy adding relics and emotes which nobody asked for or cares about
