Quest Path BS

I just completed monthly quest 2.2 and noticed I was at 98% completion which seemed odd. Turns out this map has two portals going to the same place:

So now I have to do another full run to hit 1 node.

Bad form Kabam.

There is even a portal under the boss...Nice map design.

I realized it and did it the normal way but it seems like a lot of people are falling for this and get stuck at %98. It is deffinetly kabams fault but as a player you should also be aware that there shouldn't be 6 paths in 2.2. It has always been 5. I realized it and didn't fall for it. But again mostly kabams fault.

There shouldn't be two portals behind Gambit. The second one will waste your time.

I already have to think through node interactions and play style, like "who has easy access to armor up for the dress code node?"

And I need to think through esoteric things, like "do I only get a fury on power burn 30% of the time because of a bug or because of ability accuracy nonsense or pacify?"

I should not need to assume responsibility for ensuring the game designers made a sensible map.

yes kabam just does things to get in the way of players i didnt realize i had 2 lines leading to the same location and now i have to do the same line again to complete the missing 2% of exploration

You can explore it without running any fight twice. Just don't do Portal 5B
