Please fix Battlegrounds matchmaking

I have been getting matched up with accounts with much higher rating top champs than I have, with the opponent often having multiple ranked 6 stars while I only have one at rank 1. I feel like it was much better when the matchmaking was based on Champion Deck rating. Its unfair for accounts like mine with a majority of bulk in ranked 3 and 4 stars while all my opponents have top shelf 6 stars and basically nothing else.

I think there should be certain thresholds like in Incursions, where say if you have over X (maybe 4 or 5) amount of 6 stars then you get matched with only people in or around that bracket.

Ive actually come across opponents with 8 or 9 6* champions just not fully levelled but from a progression point that doesn't seem fair at all.

It is impossible what you are writting here. Matchmaking is based on prestige and if you are having one 6star rank 1 you will not face opponents like you described.
Based on my expierience: 16100 prestige and 2.8mil hero rating and my avarage opponents have 16500 prestige and 3,3mil hero rating.

Check your opponents prestige and yours. Should be similar

Its not Impossible, its happening. While yes there have been some matches where the prestige is only 400~ off of mine (5,400k), Ive also been matched up with people as high as 6,800k and likely higher. It doesnt seem fair that someone can have a rank 2 6 star and other rank 1's on their account and they can still be matched up with mine (I dont even have a R5 5*) because our Base Hero Rating is similar, 250k (me) to 220k (them). It really is not fair matchmaking and definitely isnt only based on Prestige

based on champion deck rating? hell no. that would even worse because of sandbagging

based on champion deck rating? hell no. that would even worse because of sandbagging

Read my second comment. I'm not saying just go back to the old way, but in comparison I think deck rating is better than what it is now.

If we have a system that groups people based on thresholds like X amount of 6's or X amount of Rank 5 5*'s.

Otherwise accounts will continue to be unfairly matched based on Base Hero Rating, because like myself long term players have many many levelled and duped 3 and 4 stars that drastically inflate BHR and I end up getting matched with Whales or people who got lucky during Gifting events

Based on the accounts I've checked, its like a 30/70 split of 30% having similar prestige but different account rating, or 70% account rating similar but WAAY different prestige by thousands sometimes

It cant be, as i've had matches (as said at the top) where my opponent has had a 1.4k difference in prestige, but we were matched together because of similar account ratings. Please stop spreading misinformation unless Kabam themselves have come out and said that.

lol, you have no idea what you're talking about. You're complaining about facing a 6k account in the same brackets as16-17K+ accounts. Please explain how those are cakewalks.

Tier 4 is for summoners with 1-5 6 stars rank 4 -

Tier 3 is for summoners with max rank 3 6 stars

Tier 2 is for summoners with max 5 stars or 6 stars rank 2

Tier one is for those summoners with max 4 stars

Obviously make the rewards geared towards those tiers. They just want a fair match and have some fun playing BG. It doesn't have to be exactly like this but something like an incursion tier system will work. This would allow all summoners to play to the tier of their liking and hopefully stop complaining about facing a stacked account.

Maybe there isn't any other players with similar power playing the same time as you on your current rank. Might have to upgrade for roster its tough but it is what is it.

Just saying that they should stop complaining about match making otherwise this is the real possibility. They will hate this tier version a million times more. I'm tired of hearing the uncollected, conquer, cavalier players complaining that in GC, it's too hard for them. This would at least solve that problem, will definitely created a different one but I'm OK with that. I have only reached GC once and I'm ok with that. I have faced against stacked paragon roster and that's fine. I win a few and lose a lot. Do I wish it was easier but if I wanted easier I just do arena's, ACT 1-4, tier 1-3 side quest or monthly quest. I want a challenge so I play BG and face these monster accounts hoping for some fun and luck.

Nobody else said that only higher accounts can join. If you want to complain about facing bigger accounts then it only makes sense to have a different tiers for different levels of summoners. There will always be summoners who will complain since summoners will never 100% agree on everything but it will be less about matchmaking. This way, summoners of all level can join the tiers based on their progression level (this game is about progression level after all) and face similar account progressions so they can enjoy BG more. There would be a top tier level with the best rewards for those that dare to challenge all summoners with no restrictions in matchmaking. This way those that like to play against similar progression level can and those that dare to challenge all summoners have a place as well.

Just sounds like a good solution to me.

My point is, it's not a reasonable argument to tell people to go focus on other content when they're included in the game mode. If they're included, it's for them as well. Which means it's not unheard of for them to want to be able to play it with reasonable ability.
