Absorbing man tips and tricks?

Just pulled him today. Looked up a few videos and understand his basic kit and playstyle but am curious about what tips you all have playing him. Strong matchups/counters, interesting interactions, general tricks, things like that.

If you're in storymode/EQ (anywhere the opponent can't parry you) and you learn how to slow your combos, you can easily maintain your form in all matchups. Neat trick.

But more generally, unawakened he is amazing in any matchup that will constantly trigger his immunities/give him armor breaks. If you want to use him in more broad content, it's better to have him at sig 200.
