Rewards are decided for each Threat Level collectively, not on a node to node basis within a Threat Level. Therefore, the combined value of the three nodes in Threat Level 5 is decided to be more valuable than Threat Level 4.
Maybe because Kabam tries to balance the other rewards level 5 SQ has, that way. R4 mats are considered higher value resources than 6* shards, so they can justify the lower 6* shards. Also these 6* shards are additional anyway, because anyone who is capable of doing level 5, has access and is capable of doing level 4 SQ too 😉
Why does level 5 SQ have less 6* shards (2,000) than level 4 (2,500)??
6* shards lost their value long ago... I know it depends on the player and roster diversity, but if u have noticed 6* shards have been given in ridiculous ammounts lately...(this is one of the reason why lower progression players have been complaining about lack of iso and gold)
