I want to know if it's safe & okay to change in-game name of my account during on going aw season & bg season?!

Ps: some told me it might effect on your rewards eligibility criteria .

Pretty sure your in-game name is just a label that has no relevance to any game modes.

I'm like 99.99% sure the person who told you that was wrong or trolling. I did however leave in that .01% chance in case I learn something new and find out I am wrong.
