Infamous Iron Man position after sp3

I recently got infamous iron man and I’ve been playing around with him, and one thing I’ve noticed is that after the sp3 he doesn’t end up next to the opponent like he does in a lot of videos on YouTube. I do the heavy cancel right before the sp3, so I’m not sure what I’m missing. Is there something else I have to time right to get it to work?

He's not next to the opponent after the sp3 in YT videos either. After the sp3 just build to the sp1 to special lock the opponent and then spam sp2. If you want an opening after the sp3 make sure you parry the opponent before throwing it.

I stand corrected. After testing it myself I can confirm it works but the sp3 must be thrown the instant the stun from the heavy triggers and not when the first hit lands
