Question about restarting Alliance Quest

I'm glad to hear that today's alliance quest is getting fixed. The question I have is: is the energy spent in the bugged alliance quest going to be restored and are the champs that we put into those quests going to be released?

I know this might take a while but for the harder maps each unit of energy counts.
