Energy in higher chapters

Hey I just started playing not long ago but I was wondering why is it when you get to chapter 3? Does it start costing you double to move around the quest map?

    3 per tile is in Act 4. Cant remember for 3 really.

    As you level up, you get more energy to spend. The current max level is 60, and you'll have 70 energy to spend when you get there. As difficulty increases, your level also increases, and the energy requirements increase. It incentives impatient players (like me) to purchase energy refills. So...at the end of the day, it generates revenue for the company.
