Wolverine striker whiffs

I have a 5* Wolverine battlecast bound to a 6* Archangel. Whenever I activate the striker following a medium attack at the end of a combo, the striker misses and ends up being blocked. This leaves the attacker vulnerable and usually ends in tears.

    I've seen this happen occasionally as well. I had him on apoc and again on AA. He does whiff occasionally.

    I’ve seen this today too on my Apoc doing EQ and got a good smack on the face.
    The shenanigans keep on coming, don’t they.
